Student or student's parent must be a member of the State Employees' Credit Union. Applicant must be accepted into one of 17 universities of the Univ. of North Carolina system. Applicant must be a citizen of North Carolina. Student must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the results must demonstrate the student has financial need. Applicant should demonstrate leadership, character, integrity, and community involvement. Student must have at least a 2.5 unweighted GPA. Applicant's parent/guardian must not be employed by the State Employees' Credit Union.
Amount: $10,000 over four years.

Print and sign the SECU People Helping People Consent Form. Return this to your counselor in the Counseling Office or scan and email a hand-signed PDF of this form to your counselor. DO NOT email a picture of the signed form.
